R&D Functions:

1. To acquire new scientific knowledge among stake holders.

2. To design novel methodologies in all the fields of Engineering and Technology.

3. To develop new tools and techniques to expedite problem solving with special focus on rural and socially relevant issues.

4. To encourage the faculty to attend for various conferences and workshops all over the country to improve skills.

5. Ensure Incentives/ Awards are provided to the staff and students for their achievements

6. To promote research and innovation culture among faculty and students and to drive them towards funding in research.
