About The Institution

VCTN (Autonomous)

Vikas College of Engineering & Technology () was established in the year 2008 in the green lush fields of 50 acres. The institute is approved by AICTE New Delhi UGC and permanently affiliated to JNTUK Kakinada. Established with a vision to provide quality technical education for rural students VCTN offers Diploma undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines including Computer Science AIML Data Science IoT Cybersecurity Mechanical Civil Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering Agricultural Engineering and Business Administration.

Paper Submission Ethics and Review Expectations

  • Manuscripts must be original unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
  • Submissions must be made to only one relevant session. Duplicate submissions across multiple tracks will be disqualified.
  • Only full length research papers will be considered. Review articles short communications and previously published content are not permitted.
  • The paper should follow the official conference template and should not exceed 6 pages including tables figures and references.
  • Required sections include Title Abstract Keywords Introduction Methodology Results Discussion Conclusion Acknowledgments if any and References.
  • All submissions will undergo a double blind peer review by expert reviewers.
  • Evaluation criteria include originality technical depth relevance to conference themes clarity of presentation and research impact.
  • Conditionally accepted papers must be revised and resubmitted within the given timeframe.

Author Instructions and Ethical Requirements

  • We advise every author to follow the ethical guidelines while preparing the full length papers for submission.
  • All references listed in the reference list should be cited inside the text and only papers directly related to the manuscript should be included as references.
  • All figures and tables should be of high quality and definition.
  • References which are not relevant to the paper should not be included. Breaching this may result in the paper being excluded from submission to the publisher for publication.
  • Authors should be cautious while including their own papers in the reference list. Unrelated self citations or systematic self citation may result in exclusion from publication submission.
  • If two or more papers by the same author are accepted the corresponding author should ensure that there is no significant overlap with respect to content and concept.
  • The reference list should strictly follow the required format with author names title of the paper journal or conference name pagination volume or issue number and year of publication. Do not include DOI in the reference list.
  • No author name shall be included or replaced in the final version of the paper. Author names and order in the camera ready or revised paper should remain the same as the initially submitted paper.
  • Manipulations in the manuscript in any form such as intentionally including citations similarity issues and AI or ChatGPT written content cannot be accepted.
  • Papers involving any of the above cases may be removed from the proceedings and will not be submitted to the publisher for publication.
  • The conference has full rights to remove such papers at any stage from initial screening to final submission to the publisher even if found at a later stage.
  • In such cases registration fees will not be refunded.

Publication Opportunities

  • All submitted papers will be considered for publication based on quality and author preference.
  • All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number.
  • All high-quality accepted and presented papers will be submitted to Scopus-indexed proceedings, subject to final publisher review, scope alignment, and quality requirements.
  • Authors who are not interested in ISBN-based proceedings may opt for alternative publication opportunities based on their interest. Additional charges will be applicable for these options, and authors are required to pay the respective fees.
  • Selected papers may also be considered for book chapter publication.
  • Selected papers may also be considered for Scopus-indexed journals, subject to journal guidelines and review process.

Review Process

  • Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two expert reviewers.
  • Evaluation criteria include originality and technical depth.
  • Relevance to SAKTI themes.
  • Clarity of presentation.
  • Research impact and innovation.

Revisions and Final Submission

  • Papers that receive conditional acceptance must be revised in line with reviewer comments and resubmitted within the given timeframe.
  • Authors must submit the final version along with copyright and registration formalities.
  • Plagiarism Check: All submitted papers will be checked for plagiarism using standard tools. References and author details will be excluded from the check.
  • Acceptable Limit: Papers with less than 15% similarity will be accepted for review.
  • Needs Revision: Papers with 16% to 20% similarity will be returned to the authors for correction and resubmission.
  • Automatic Rejection: Papers with more than 20% similarity will be rejected without review.
  • Double Blind Review: Papers will undergo a double blind peer review where reviewers do not know the identity of authors and authors do not know the identity of reviewers.
  • Review Process: Each paper will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The review process will evaluate originality technical quality relevance to the conference theme and clarity of presentation.
  • Reviewer Criteria: Reviewers must be PhD holders affiliated with reputable institutions. Those interested in becoming reviewers can send a request to the conference chair.
  • Certificate for Reviewers: All reviewers will receive an honorary certificate for their contribution regardless of the final decision on the papers.
  • Acceptance Notification: Authors of accepted papers will be notified through the paper submission portal. Papers will be accepted based on originality research quality clarity and relevance to the conference themes.
  • Revisions: Accepted papers may be requested to undergo minor revisions based on reviewer comments. Authors are required to submit revised papers within the specified timeline to complete the acceptance process.
  • Registration Requirement: At least one author of each accepted paper must register for SAKTI 2026 to have their paper included in the conference proceedings and presentation schedule.
  • Registration Fee: The registration fee covers the conference kit presentation slot participation certificate and access to conference proceedings.
  • During Review Process: Authors may withdraw their paper at any point before a decision has been made on the review.
  • After Acceptance: For accepted papers withdrawal is possible with the following refund policy.
  • Presentation: All authors of accepted papers are required to present their paper at the conference. The standard format is a 15 minute PowerPoint presentation with 12 minutes for presenting and 3 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Offline Presentations: SAKTI 2026 will be conducted primarily in offline mode. However under special circumstances authors may request permission to present online but this is subject to approval by the conference authorities.
  • Online Presentations: Requests for online presentations must be accompanied by a valid reason and approval is not guaranteed for all cases.
  • Participation Certificates: All participants in SAKTI 2026 will receive a printed certificate of participation.
  • Presentation Certificates: Authors who present their papers will receive a certificate of presentation.
  • Reviewer Certificates: Reviewers will be awarded an honorary certificate soft copy for their contribution to the review process regardless of the outcome of the papers they reviewed.
  • Camera Ready Submission: Authors of all presented papers must submit the camera ready version of their work within the prescribed time.
  • Publication Format: Papers must follow the specific guidelines and format required by the respective publications.
  • Proceedings Publication: High quality papers presented at SAKTI 2026 will be submitted to the respective publication partners for potential publication.
  • Publication Guidelines: Papers must meet the requirements set by the proceedings to be eligible for publication. The final decision on publication will be made by the respective editors or authorized representatives of the publication.
  • Publication Timeline: The timeline for publication will depend on the processes followed by each publication partner.
