The Incubation Centre ensures a structured process to identify promising ideas and guide students through expert mentorship offered by faculty, industry leaders, and startup founders. It organizes innovation-based workshops, awareness programs, and training sessions, helping students develop technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership capabilities. The centre encourages participation in national-level IIC activities and provides continuous support for prototype development, exposure to industry linkages, and opportunities to access incubation networks and funding ecosystems.

Process to Incubate Startup Ideas at Vikas

Vikas Institutions actively encourages students to explore startup ideas and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. The institution organizes multiple sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup foundations. Students choosing to pursue startup ideas are assigned mentors based on the nature of their project and industry relevance. These mentors include industry professionals, experienced founders, and expert faculty.

During their 4-2 semester and beyond, students are encouraged to collaborate, refine their concepts, and work on prototypes using campus resources, labs, and innovation spaces.

Ideathons & Hackathons

Ideathons and Hackathons at Vikas Institutions serve as an excellent platform for students to ideate, collaborate, and build functional prototypes. These events enhance innovation, problem-solving attitude, and teamwork. Students also gain valuable soft skills such as:
