Overview

At Vikas College of Engineering and Technology, the CSE – Cyber Security program is designed to develop professionals who can protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. With an increasing need for cybersecurity in today’s digital world, this program focuses on both the theoretical and practical aspects of securing digital assets.

The curriculum blends core computer science with in-depth security training, including topics like cryptography, ethical hacking, risk management, digital forensics, and secure software development. Students will learn to detect vulnerabilities, mitigate threats, and develop secure solutions through rigorous hands-on labs and industry-aligned projects.

The first-year curriculum covers general engineering fundamentals, which is followed by a strong focus on core computer science and advanced cybersecurity concepts in the following semesters.
